Records on your device

Warrabee stores products, warranties, notes, and imported receipt files in the app's local storage. No Warrabee account is required. This version does not sync your collection between devices or upload these records to a Warrabee server.

Device backups depend on your Apple settings. They are separate from Warrabee's manual export and restore feature. Keep a copy of important information before removing the app or changing devices.

Receipt recognition

Receipt text recognition runs on your device using Apple's frameworks. Receipts are not sent to a cloud AI service for recognition. Check recognized names, dates, and amounts before saving.

Permissions

The camera is used when you choose to photograph a receipt. Photos and Files let you choose documents to import. Notifications support warranty reminders. Manage permissions in iPhone Settings; manual product entry remains available without camera or notification access.

Sharing and backups

You choose when to export or share records, receipts, and claim summaries. Exported files can contain personal information. Share only with people and services you trust. Copies saved outside Warrabee are not deleted when you delete a record inside the app. Manual Backup & Restore is a Pro feature; automatic backup and iCloud sync are not included.

Purchases

Apple handles Pro purchases and payment information. Warrabee checks Pro access using verified StoreKit transactions. Product loading, purchases, and restoring purchases may contact Apple's services. Warrabee does not receive your payment card details.

Tracking and preferences

Warrabee has no advertising or third-party analytics SDK. Categories, tags, reminder preferences, and recovery settings are stored on your device. A local preference does not grant Pro access.

Support

If you email support, the information you choose to send is received through email and used to help with your request. App records and receipts are not attached automatically. Your controls

Use Settings → Backup & Restore for Pro backups, or Privacy & Data for cleanup. Product deletion and unused-receipt cleanup require confirmation. Keep a copy of important information before deleting it.
